Wish List x

So today I have created a wish list of a few items I really want! (but unfortunately, I am broke atm so can't get any, awwww *sad face*)

I love working with the eyes. Eye Make-Up is probably what I love to do the best, and in my opinion, can make or break the look. Eye Make-Up has the abitily to change the character. Whether it's bruised and battered, to party girl. It can show the world what type of person you are.

I LOVE haveing big palette's filled with colours. The downfall to that is, they don't fit into a clutch on a wicked night out. (even if they did, I wouldn't take it out baha) So I mixed up my mini-wishlist with palette's and some smaller shadows.

This looks like a nice palette, which is why it has made it into the wishlist. It had 100 colours, including warm browns right up to the brights. I've never had a problem with e.l.f cosmetics, so I have no doubt in my mind that the product would be s**t ! The layout is cute, and a basic case. It would be a great palette for both blogger, artist and everyday woman/girl.

I chose this colour because it is a nice sweet version of a blue. Kiddie Pool has both sparkle and shimmer. Meaning that is is perfect if your a glitter barbie, or looking to try something other than a matte eyeshadow! I have been wearing blue on my eyes a lot lately. Which is also another reason it has made it into the Wish List!

Illamasqua is slowly becoming a favorited brand to me. Hence why it has made it into the wish list. I love the colours. The main reason it's here in my Wish List!

I love BH Cosmetics! I have been a fan for a while! BH Cosmetics has high pigmented colours, and they are so CHEAP but a great quality! This palette has 40 colours. All colours that may be worn on a typical night out on the town, hence the colours of the name "Party Girl" !
The case is a nice black, so it would mesh in well with my kit (most of my kit is black and white) which is why it is in my wishlist!

Hope you liked the preview of my wish list!

BH Cosmetics 66 Colour Lip-Gloss Palette

So above is the 66 Color Lip Palette by BH Cosmetics!
This is honestly one of the best buys I have EVER made!

The colours are of a high pigment, and the are classified as a gloss, but honestly.. They are more of a lipstick. They have a lot of shine to them, and are smooth and sheer.

I mainly love this palette as it's the ultimate tool for a training make-up artist such as myself. The colour range of the palette is huge. From the normal pinks and reds to the unusual blue, whites and oranges.

Other things that shocked me about this particular brand is the way they send there packages.
In a firm tough box, with a lot of cushioning to support the contents from travelling. Considering, I live in Australia, and they are sending from America.. There was minimal damage! Not a scratch at all!

Also, the palette contains the ingredients, best before AND where it is made on the back!
That is VERY unusual to find in a lot of brands these days!

Hope you enjoyed my review guys!

Semi-Natural Make-Up

A nice classic semi-nude face is my fave type of make up!
A plump pink of brown lip, with a classic eye in bowns :)
this is the kind of make-up I will wear to school, when I can be bothered haha.

First things first, it's just like baking a cake, tools and ingredients. Or in this case, Brushes and Make-Up!
You don't need to have the exact brushes, or the exact make-up, the ones below work best for me personally is all. Also keep in mind that you May, and in many cases will need different colours than me!!

The Brushes !! :)

Left: Napoleon Perdis Blusher Brush
Right:  Napoleon Perdis Foundation Brush

1: Napoleon Perdis Large Eye Shadow Brush
2: Napoleon Perdis Small Eye Shadow Brush
3: Napoleon Perdis Lip Brush

The Make Up :) xx

Starting at top left going clockwise (Right)
- SportsGirl Get Cheeky Blush
-SportsGirl Lip Jam
-Napoleon Perdis Palette in Champagne
-CoverGirl Foundation for Normal Skin in Buff Beige
- DB Black Mascara
- Savvy By DB Eyeliner Pen
-Australis Lip Pencil in Bashful.

Steps :) xx

1. Start by applying your foundation, working from the nose to the outer frame of your face. Don't put too much on the forehead as it can start to look cakey and dry (even though it's not). If you have pimples or redness, feel free to cover with a concealer. (I don't tend to use it, which is why it isn't in my routine)

2. Add a little bit of blush to the cheeks, not too dark. Only so it is slightly noticeable!

3. Pic 3 browns from the palette that suite your skin tone, keeping in mind that you will need a lighter, medium and darker brown. The colour can be close, but do need a noticeable difference.

4. Start with the medium brown, and cover the full lid, finishing just before the brow.

5. Then take the darker brow, start from the outer corner of the eye and work the brown up alone the  crease of the eye, finishing 1/3 of the way along. Also do a bit along the outer, upper lash line :)

6. Finish with the lighter colour on the middle of the lid (where the pupil would sit if the lid was closed) and a bit on the bottom of the outer third of the brown. Also a thin line of eyeliner across either the bottom or upper lash line. I recommend the upper though. :) And a dash of mascara to the lashes :)

7. All that's left is the lips! Line and fill with the lip pencil and add some of the lip Jam with the Lip brush. All done and ready to go for a light and breezy day !!

Hope you love this look :)

BH Cosmetics ~ 120 Eyeshadow Palette 5th Edition :)

So when searching through old emails, I came across the email for the launch of BH Cosmetics's new eye shadow palette. When I read it, I actually got excited, even though I knew I was VERY behind on the times haha.

The palette is designed for that feminen side to all us girly girls, with browns for day, and pinks for night. Looking at the site, the product already has a 100% vote on 5/5 from customers.

It tells you everything from what skin tone the buyers had, and everything they loved about the product!

This is Brigita's Review:
I bought 5th palette and some individual brushes (Blending Brush, Smudge Brush, Small Smudge Brush, All-over Brush, Highlighter Brush and Duo Fiber Stippling Brush). Eyeshadow colors are natural and worm, blends well, you can create many different looks - from daily to going out look. Brushes are very soft, blending with them is so easy, great quality for small price!
I`m very excited and I love BH Cosmetics! Definitelly, this wasn`t my last order! I recommend this cosmetics to everyone!
Service and delivery comments:
I was extremely excited when a postman deliver my first order. Only 8 days for package to arrive from USA to Croatia is excellent time! There were no psihical damage on the package nor the items inside, everthing was extremely well protected.

I own a couple other palette's from BH Cosmetics, and generally speaking, all eyeshadows apply the same, so no doubt in my mind, it is easy to blend and highly pigmented.
The regular price is: $34.95 but BH has sales often so you should be able to pick it up cheaper!

Be sure to check out this palette!

BYS Diamond Shadow in Miami Beats !

So as you may be aware,  I recently went for a shopping day in Hamilton with my bestie Rhychelle!
Although I was only intending to buy Foundation, this is one of the little things I just happened to pick up along they way!

Pictured above is the BYS Eye Palette in Miami Beats :)

There is a vast variety of colours throughout the range, and they are perfect for those on low budgets!

Although, this eye shadow contains a lot of Talc. So much, that it actually make me sneeze!
So I personally steer away from the product as much as possible. I only use it if I have to.

As you can see below in the swatches, The colours do come up bright, and they are very shimmery!

Btw, they are a little jumbled up ! My bad :/

I found that the purples came up looking very alike. It kind of annoyed me a little bit.
They are fairly easy to blend, and although it makes me sneeze, the smell in nice.
I give this a 9/10 :)

It was worth the $5 @ The Reject Shop!

Shady Lady Eye Shadow

Hey Guys!
I hope you are all enjoying your Sunday afternoon! I sure am, considering I'm eating yum as Chocolate Mousse that I made earlier into the day! Haha (I just had to rub it in) !
Also I do have some news! I am now officially in a relationship! Yay's for me hehe !

Well anyways, time to get to the point haha.
This is Sportsgirls Shady Lady Eye Shadow Palette!
(Which was mentioned in a previous post)

So from what I remember I roughly paid $10 for it at Sportsgirl!
At the time, I was like, "meh $10, I may as well try it out" But not I am now kind of am regretting it!

The palette's actual looks it what made me buy it, and I was stupid enough to NOT sample the tester.
The Silver and White are the only two colours I like. The black is EXTREMELY hard to blend, and the pick comes up as a darker white. Was not happy.

I had to keep saying to myself "Emma, it was only $10, no biggy!"
But then I realised that I could of brought a sleek palette for roughly the same price, and yeah.. It was a sad moment.

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone to be honest. Since the colours are made with talc, they feel really heavy on your lids. It made me feel like a hooker to be honest (not joking). But in all honesty, I give it a 5/10. It would be something that I would buy for a little kid, as their first make up... No joke!

So yeah.. That's my honest opinion... :/

(black, silver, pink, white)
